9:00am Meet our driver in the hotel lobby to start our day.
Farmhouse Flavors of the Basque Country
A day enjoying Basque Cider, walking around the apple orchards, learning about pollination, fermentation,
presses, etc. After the short tour, we’ll taste the cider with some local chorizo. Then we’ll head to a private
farmhouse, which is the home of an artisan ham producer. After exploring the grounds, we’ll enjoy a very
special home-made meal in the family’s dining room. The meal is prepared using only homemade products
including their ham and charcuterie, beef and wild mushroom and will be accompanied with plenty of Rioja
wines or Cider. We’ll use this time to reflect on all the amazing experiences we shared and discuss our
favorite moments throughout our journey!
