Day 8 - Easter Sunday April 21st
Breakfast at the Lasala Plaza Hotel is served from 7:30am to 10:30am.
9:00am Meet our driver in the hotel lobby to start our day.
10:00am Day trip visiting Guggenheim and the other Txakoli! First we’ll drive to the museum for a tour inside and then
head to the Bilbao old quarter for some pintxo bar hopping. We will then head to one of our favorite DO Txakoli Bizkaia
producers. This will be an interesting contrast to the first winery.
We’ll then head back to San Sebastian.
8:00pm Evening group dinner at a Txoko (private Gastronomic Society)
Our private cooking workshop takes place in the most important and well-known Gastronomic Club of San
Sebastian (a temple for foodies!) where we have been given exclusive member access and can grant access for
you to partake in a wonderful cooking class with a professional chef. The chef worked in Michelin starred
restaurants in the past and has acquired endless knowledge of traditional Basque cuisine, so you’ll be in good
hands! We’ll start by opening a nice bottle of wine to begin the class. The class is quite informal, as you’ll be cooking in the same kitchen as the chef, and can be as participative as you want.
